We’re delighted to announce that the housing project in Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire has been shortlisted for the Climate Action Award and the Coventry Housing Projects has been shortlisted for the Residential Project of the Year Award at the Constructing Excellence National Awards 2025.

The Constructing Excellence National Awards 2025 celebrate the very best of the UK construction industry, bringing together architects, engineers, contractors, and developers who exemplify collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. Showcasing the finest regional winners from across the country, the awards highlight the strength and ambition of the sector in delivering exceptional projects and driving excellence throughout the built environment.

The Fen Drayton project highlights our commitment to delivering high quality, sustainable housing solutions in partnership with Excelsior Land and housing association bpha.

The Fen Drayton development features 14 affordable homes comprising of four three-bedroom homes, eleven two-bedroom homes and four one-bedroom homes. All the homes include parking and landscaping.

We supplied our Eco200 fully closed panel system with factory fitted brick slip cladding to this development which offers the perfect solution for achieving the appearance and feel of traditional brickwork without the extensive time and expense of conventional bricklaying.

The Coventry Housing Projects highlights our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable housing solutions in partnership with Excelsior Land and housing association Citizen.

The homes are being built using timber frames built in our factory in Walsall and are being transported to the sites in Coventry where they are then assembled and built by Excelsior Land.

Mike Doolan, our Sales and Partnership Manager, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for both the Climate Action Award and the Residential Project of the Year Award at the Constructing Excellence National Awards 2025.

“Our off-site manufactured timber frame solutions, complete with brick slips, reduce construction time on site and produce less waste when compared to traditional building methods. This brings both environmental benefits and results in quicker handovers.

“Our team is incredibly proud of this recognition, which underscores our dedication to excellence and sustainability in housing development.”

The winners of the Constructing Excellence National Awards 2025 will be announced on Friday 7 November at London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel.
